HA Portable APAPI Set:
An abbreviated precision approach path indicator (APAPI) is a visual aid that provides guidance information to help a pilot acquire and maintain the correct approach path to a runway threshold or TLOF (heliport). The HA-APAPI 12V is a portable lighting system with three foldable, adjustable legs.
To complete the comprehensive portable lighting system, Holland Aviation has developed a battery operated APAPI system
The HA APAPI 12 is quickly to deploy and uses only 90 watts of LED power. The batteries allow a continuous operation of approx.. 7 hours at 12V and 14 hours at 24V.
A heater system is installed to prevent condens mist on the lenses.
