Description

HA-80 FL Ex Windsock assembly internally lighted.

Holland Aviation is making this assembly of Stainless Steel 316L. Extra options are Ex Junction Box: CEAG eAZK 96  2xM20 or 4xM20, certified for: EEX e II T6 Zone 1 and Zone 2.

We have this installation internally lighted 24 Vdc,  internally lighted 230 Vac.

 

Some key features of the HA-80 FL Ex Windsock assembly are;
  • The windsock gives a reliable wind direction.
  • Along with the wind direction, you can see a wind speed indication.
  • This installation has low maintenance costs.
  • A reliable fixed illumination system.
  • The assembly has no rotating electric parts.
  • In addition, Holland Aviation is not using any mercury-containing slip-rings.

 

The Colours red/white (ICAO) as well as orange (FAA), double-stitched with a reinforced front hem and grommets. The Holland Aviation windsocks are designed so that they taper from the throat to the trailing end. As a result of this, the windsock is fully extending when you are exposing it to a wind of 15 knots (is equal to 28 km/hr or 17 mph).

The HA windsock sleeves are proving to withstand wind speeds in excess of 145km/h (75 knots). The windsock fabrics have been tested for mechanical strength, UV resistance and color fastness by an independent laboratory.
