Description

L806 Ex Windsock assembly internally lighted 230 Vac.

This windsock assembly is only suitable for windsocks up to Ø 45 cm windsocks. The internal lighting and the top light is being provided with explosion-proof lights. Therefore, this assembly is suitable for Zone 1.

Holland Aviation is constructing this from an L806 mast made of T50 Aluminium (powder coated).

 

Some key features of the L806 Ex Windsock assembly are;
  • The windsock gives a reliable wind direction.
  • Along with the wind direction, you can see a wind speed indication.
  • This installation has low maintenance costs.
  • A reliable fixed illumination system.
  • The assembly has no rotating electric parts.
  • In addition to that, Holland Aviation is not using any mercury-containing slip-rings.

 

Colours red/white (ICAO) as well as orange (FAA), double-stitched with a reinforced front hem and grommets. Holland Aviation windsocks are designed so that they taper from the throat to the trailing end. As a result of this, the windsock is fully extending when you are exposing it to a wind of 15 knots (is equal to 28 km/hr or 17 mph).

HA windsock sleeves are proving to withstand wind speeds in excess of 145km/h (75 knots). The windsock fabrics have been tested for mechanical strength, UV resistance and color fastness by an independent laboratory.
