Description
L806 style FAA Windsock assembly internally lighted 110-230Vac.
This installation is suitable for Ø 45 cm windsocks. Due to the frangible coupling, this installation is suitable for placement close to the runway.

Some key features of the L806 style FAA Windsock assembly are;
- The windsock gives a reliable wind direction.
- Along with the wind direction, you can see a wind speed indication.
- This installation has low maintenance costs.
- This windsock assembly has a low power consumption.
- A reliable fixed illumination system.
- The assembly has no rotating electric parts.
- In addition, Holland Aviation is not using any mercury-containing slip-rings.
The Colours red/white (ICAO) as well as orange (FAA), double-stitched with a reinforced front hem and grommets. The Holland Aviation windsocks are designed so that they taper from the throat to the trailing end. As a result of this, the windsock is fully extending when you are exposing it to a wind of 15 knots (is equal to 28 km/hr or 17 mph).
The HA windsock sleeves are proving to withstand wind speeds in excess of 145km/h (75 knots). The windsock fabrics have been tested for mechanical strength, UV resistance and color fastness by an independent laboratory.
