The HA-80 RG Windsock assembly is unlighted.

You can also buy the HA-80 RG unlighted and externally lighted.

The taper of the windsock is from the throat to the trailing end designed to cause the windsock to fully extend when it is being exposed to a wind of 15 knots (is equal to 28 km/hr or 17 mph).

The HA windsock sleeves have been proven to withstand wind speeds in excess of 145
km/h (75 knots). The windsock fabrics have been tested for mechanical strength, UV
resistance and colorfastness by an independent laboratory.
