HLO/HDA safety vests comply with safety standards set forth by the CE directive 89/686/EEC regarding Personal Protective Equipment. This directive ensures that personal protective equipment, including safety vests, meet essential health and safety requirements for their intended use.
HLO/HDA safety vests adhere to the standards set by EN ISO 20471:2013 and EN 340:2003 for High Visibility Clothing. EN ISO 20471:2013 specifies the requirements for high-visibility clothing. That is intended to provide visibility of the wearer in hazardous situations. The standard categorizes high-visibility clothing into three classes, with Class 2 being an intermediate level.
